Last Updated: May 4, 2026
At Archov Technologies, we believe that academic data is sacred. This policy explains how we protect the privacy of students, parents, and teachers using the AAR platform.
1. Our Privacy Principles
Privacy by Design: Privacy is not an afterthought; it is built into the AAR database schema and reporting engine.
Data Minimization: We only collect the data necessary to generate accurate academic reports and insights.
No Selling of Data: We never sell student or parent data to third parties. Period.
2. Compliance with Ghana's Act 843
AAR is designed to be fully compliant with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). We process data under the "Educational Necessity" and "Consent" provisions of the Act.
- Data Subject Rights: Parents have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their child's records.
- Security Measures: We use AES-256 encryption and strict access controls to prevent unauthorized data processing.
3. Data Collection & Use
We collect student names, grades, and attendance data provided by schools. This data is used solely to:
- Generate biweekly and terminal reports.
- Identify at-risk students for early intervention.
- Provide schools with operational analytics.
4. Data Integrity Features
To prevent data tampering, every report generated by our system is cryptographically hashed. You can verify the integrity of any AAR report on our Data Integrity Page.
